The Constitution Day of Ukraine is the only state holiday enshrined in the Constitution.
In June 1996, the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada adopted the constitution. It happened in the fifth year after the proclamation of independence. The selection of people worked the whole night from the 27th to the 28th of June, generally 23 hours uninterrupted. During the vote, “For” elected 315 parliamentarians.
It is believed that the Constitution of the legal basis of an independent Ukraine, the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the most important step in ensuring the rights and freedoms of the people and citizens, helped further enhance the international image of Ukraine in the world.
We wish you happiness and kindness, peace and prosperity, strength and inspiration in all matters!
